Mormon History, May 19, 1846. Tuesday.

[William Clayton Journal] Spent the morning reading, afterwards went fishing. Some teams returned from camp and said that some from Nauvoo had arrived there who started two weeks ago last Saturday and that Elder Hyde had advised all the saints to move over the river as fast as possible from Nauvoo, they have their ferry boats constantly employed and numbers are already on their way here.
