[Brigham Young Discourse] The camp met. I repeated the instructions given last evening pertaining to trading, and observed that misunderstandings arose from persons being absentminded and not paying attention to what is said. I explained the object of the meeting, which was to take into consideration the policy of removing the camp back to the bluffs where we could get good spring water and be away from the Omaha Indians. We decided that Capt. Miller's company continue their operations on the boat, and that Frederick Hesler direct the hands; also that Capt. Miller keep up the fishery. I advised the brethren to be wise and say little. -- Council Bluffs, Iowa [Manuscript History of Brigham Young, 1846- 1847. Elden J. Watson, ed. Salt Lake City: Smith Secretarial Service, 1971.:185]
