Mormon History, Jun 16, 1846. Tuesday.

[William Clayton Journal] Started at half past seven and traveled about 14 miles when we came in sight of the Missouri river and the main camp about 5 miles further. We soon learned that some of the camp were coming back to find water. There being no water where we were we moved back about 2 miles to a spring and there camped [] till we can learn what to do.
