Cummings, H[osea] Stout, E. M. Green-[?] Neff, Horace Eldridge-[?] West.
R[eynolds]. C[ahoon]. read [a] letter of recommendation to Randolph Alexander [and] voted that it be received-
B. Y.[:] Let the letters contain that those sent out are only to preach Faith, Repen[tance], Baptism-Laying on of hands & the gift of the H[oly] Ghost, & the gathering of the Saints to this place to go West. Let the clerks take the names of those who are sent out and where they are to go to.
B. Y.[:] Robert you see to that, [and] Voted that Zebedee Coltrin /go to Wisconsin/ Senior [and]
C[harles] Dolton get letters of recommend to go. The names of the H[igh] Priests calling offer /over/.
[W]hen E. M. Greene took their. X Voted a letter be written to O[liver] Cowdery. Voted the following have [a] mission[:] Winslow Farr, W[illiam]. W. Major, G[eorge]. W. Harris send to Terryhout. J[onathan] C Wright., P[hineas]. H. Young to Ohio to Oliver Cowdery-John Clark-
David Lewis go to the south. Daniel Russell-Harvey Green-Isaac Clark. Luman H. Corkins, Charles Dolton, Amos Cox. Elisha H Groves., Daniel S Thomas go to South. Noah W. Bartholemew-Erastus Snow-Levi Stuart, Ormus E Bates, Calvin C. Pendleton, Aaron Johnson, [and] Joseph Knight, motion he tends to the poor. Fred W Cox, Chancey W Porter, Thomas Clark, W[illia]m Player to go to the temple in Nauvoo & bring the tools. [and] preach all he can on the way.
Jacob G Bigler, [for a] little while-John van waggoner-29. Ira West & W[illia]m Clayton s missions were talked of. Wm Clayton wants a mission to England-W[illiam] W Phelps read read a few suggestions-[and] handed it to Dr R[ichards].
Voted an adjournment.
