[Minutes, Quorum of Twelve] Monday 22 Nov[embe]r. 1847
Meeting of the Council of the Twelve in the Drs. Office.
Present[: Brigham] Young, [George A.] Smith, [Amasa] Lyman, [Willard] Richards, [Orson]
Pratt, [Ezra T.] Benson, [Albert P.] Rockwood.
Dr. stated the case of Benj[ami]n. Jenne who had left his Wife & children with[ou]t. any thing to eat-[H]e has been away 10 months, is returned again this evening, [and he] brought her nothing to eat-& wants her to go to M[iss]o[uri].
B. Y.[:] There ought to be a bill made out for her Expences-[T]hen the Officers go over the River & attach his property for the amount.
T[homas]. B[ullock]. read over the names of the Hi[gh] Priests-& those who were marked to go a preaching-There is a report of 3 houses being burnt in Hancock County lately.
N[ewell]. K. Whitney stated that his little child dreamed lately that he saw George Miller trying to drive a flock of Sheep into the River, but he could not succeed-some went one way & some another & he was left alone.
W R.[: T]he dream is certain & the interpretation sure-
Pres[iden]t. Kimball came in.
