Mormon History, Sunday, May 17, 1846.

[Apostle Willard Richards Journal] Whitebreast. Richards went on 1 mile to KimballÂ's to breakfast, and they passed on 2 miles to Whitebreast and passed over the bridge built by President Young and encamped till p.m. President Young, Kimball, Lyman, and George A. Smith, went and looked a road and the whole camp went on 2 miles to a creek. [Squaw Creek] Creek Encampment. About 5½ [5:30], President Young, Richards, and Captain Rockwood, and Sherwood crossed the creek, went on the hill and surveyed the grand west. Returned at dusk. Land hilly and dry. 8 a.m., J. D. Lee and company arrived at headquarters with 13 milk cows, 3 yoke oxen, and 3 loads of provisions, 24 guns, etc.
