[Hosea Stout Diary] Wednesday January 13th 1847. This morning I went with my wife to A. P. Rockwoods to trade out some orders got against him from the Police Treasury but he not having his goods put up we came home & I went to W. Richards office and wrote the minutes of the last Council and then went to Whitneys store and traded some and came home.
Br Amasa Lyman Came home with me and took dinner[.] I then went and regulated the guard
This fore noon I sent G. W. Langley down to the Point to see if anything was going on to our injury there[.] I wrote untill late (this Evening [crossed out]) to night
