[Apostle Willard Richards Journal] Snow fell about three inches deep. Made up a mail of 30 1etters for the U. S. post office and sent by Brother Horace Burgess. [?] were dancing. Municipal high council met at the council house at 6 p.m., President Young present. William W. Major spent the evening in the Octagon with Dr. Richards, who was engaged in writing a continuation of the letter to the Saints at Punca. Closed about midnight, retired about 2 a.m. Joseph Herring was in camp. The mill dam gave way and the water ran into the Missouri.
Patty Sessions delivered Caroline, wife of William Weeks, of a daughter named Rophenah at 7 a.m.
