[Hosea Stout Diary] Monday January the 11th 1847. This morning I went to the council of the Twelve, as mentioned last evening at Br Ezra T. Bensons house[.] We were there untill nearley dark

I was happy to learn & see for myself that the Twelve are now perfectly aware of the evil intentions of their enemies who are thick in our midst and of whom I have more than once expressed my concern least they should take some private advantage
After council I regulated the guard and went on patrol guard with the Marshall & Br D. Carn
