Mormon History, Feb 16, 1849 (Friday)

The First Presidency and the Apostles, in council assembled, divided the country lying south of G.S.L. City into four Bishop's Wards, namely, Canyon Creek (afterwards Sugar House), Mill Creek, Holladay (afterwards Big Cottonwood) and South Cottonwood.
