Mormon History, Monday, Mar 1, 1847.

[Apostle Willard Richards Journal] Wind turned to the south in the night, thawing gently. Dr. [Richards] came in a little after 10. President B. Young, J. D. Lee, and J. M. Grant half past 11. Made up a mail of ten letters to Great Britain, 8 St. Louis, 4 Massachusetts, 11 ---- Philadelphia, and gave Brother Grant No. 15 copy of Word and Will of the Lord. Also made up a mail of five letters to Mt. Pisgah by Mellen Atwood, a four-mule team, and J. M. Grant. Left office at 22 minutes to 4. President Young left about 5. G. Miller and several men puddling the Mill Dam. T. B. [Thomas Bulock] made out alphabetical list of letters in post office, etc., etc.
