[Lucy Mack Smith] Joseph Jr. and Emma come to Waterloo for a preaching meeting at Lucy's home. (2)

[Revelations] Fayette, New York. Doctrine and Covenants 35. Sidney, like John the Baptist, prepared the way for Jesus and Elijah, without knowing it. Baptized unto repentance, but not the Holy Ghost. Now the Holy Ghost. Believers to cast out devils, heal the sick, blind, deaf, and lame. Lord will "let fall the sword in their behalf". Joseph has the keys of the mysteries. If he fails, another will replace him. Sidney to be Joseph's scribe for scriptures. Lord comes soon.
"Mormonism," Ohio Star, Jan. 5, 1832, heading: "Mormonism. " The text, furnished by Symonds Ryder, dates the revelation December 7, 1830. According to Lucy Mack Smith, who is followed by most secondary sources, Sidney and Edward Partridge first met Joseph the day before Edward was baptized, which, according to Orson F. Whitney, was December 11. Lucy, 505. Whitney's Edward Partridge, 4. The text begins, "A commandment to Joseph and Sidney, Dec. 7th, 1830, saying:".

[Revelations] Fayette, New York. Doctrine and Covenants 36. Edward Partridge is called to preach the gospel. Sidney to lay on hands and Edward receive Holy Ghost, then shout Hosanna. Others to be ordained and go forth to preach.

[Joseph Smith] Fayette, New York. While working on his inspired translation of the Bible, Joseph Smith received by revelation the later portion of chapter 6 in the book of Moses. (4)

Sidney Rigdon and Edward Partridge meet Joseph in Waterloo, New York, a short distance from David Whitmer's home in Fayette township. Lucy says Edward was baptized the day after he and Sidney arrived in Waterloo. Lucy, 505. (1)

[Joseph Smith] Seneca River, Seneca County, New York. Joseph Smith baptized Edward Partridge, who later became the first bishop of the Church. (4)

D&C 36 (Fayette): Edward is called to preach the gospel. (1)

[Joseph Smith] Fayette, New York. Joseph Smith received by revelation extracts from the prophecy of Enoch, which later became Moses 7 in the Pearl of Great Price. (4)

[Pratt, Parley Parker] After Rigdons baptism, 14 November 1830, continued with Lamanite missionaries to Missouri, arriving in Independence 13 December 1830. (5)
