[Joseph Smith] Fayette, New York. Joseph Smith received Doctrine & Covenants 32, a revelation regarding Parley P. Pratt and Ziba Petersons mission to teach the Lamanites. (1)

[Lucy Mack Smith] Sunday, Samuel Smith is able to visit Joseph Sr. in prison but cannot effect his release to the jail yard. (2)

-- Oct 11, 1830
[Cahoon, Reynolds] Baptized 11 October 1830 by Parley P. Pratt. Shortly after baptism, ordained elder by Sidney Rigdon. (3)

[Lucy Mack Smith] Hyrum has moved to Colesville by this date. (2)

Philo Dibble (a Kirtland land dealer) baptized by Parley P. Pratt. Joseph Smith living on Frederick G. Williams' farm which was $400 in debt and in danger of reverting to the prior owner; Joseph Coe was required to raise the money but couldn't so Dibble sold some of his 1200 acres for $1.75 per acre and paid Joseph Smith the $400 [per Philo Dibble]. D&C 32 (Fayette): Parley P. Pratt and Ziba Peterson to join Oliver's mission to the Lamanites. (5)

[Joseph Smith] In Manchester a missionary covenant to preach to native Americans (Lamanites) is issued. [MANCHESTER,] (6)

[Lucy Mack Smith] Joseph Jr., in Waterloo, receives D&C 32, instructing Parley P. Pratt, Ziba Peterson, Oliver Cowdery, and Peter Whitmer to go on a mission to Native Americans on the Missouri frontier. Before the month's end, they are preaching at Kirtland, Ohio, with notable success. Soon after the missionaries departure, Samuel moves Lucy and the younger children (Joseph Sr. is still in jail) to Waterloo, New York. (2)

Parley, Ziba, Oliver, and Peter Whitmer Jr. leave on mission. First, Seneca Indians near Buffalo, New York. (5)

D&C 33 (Fayette): Ezra Thayer and Northrop Sweet called on missions. Gather the elect. (5)

[Revelations] Fayette, New York. Doctrine and Covenants 33. Ezra Thayer and Northrop Sweet are called to declare the gospel to a crooked and perverse generation.
