Mormon History, Monday, Apr 5, 1847.

[Apostle Willard Richards Journal] Thundering, lightning, and rain. Cleared up about 11. Office dropping with rain. Dr. [Richards] came in office about 11. At noon, President Young and John Neff called. T. B. [Thomas Bullock] read the letters written last night and this morning. The President approved of them and set R. C. [Robert Campbell] to copy them. T. B. continued drafting the road to Bear River. At dusk very cloudy, northwest wind blowing hard. H. C. Kimball fenced in his houses. The river is rising fast. Dr. and Brother Benson in office between 8 and 9.
