Mormon History, Apr 6, 1847

[Apostle Wilford Woodruff Journal] 6th April 1847 We met in Public Conference this morning in winter quarters. Not much business was done. The sun shone bright, the Heavens smiled upon us. Our hearts were made glad. President Young spoke to the people good doctrin. The conference voted to sustain the quorum of the Twelve in their place, the Presidents of the seventies the Bishops &c.
I spent the afternoon in preparing to start As I expect it will be the last day I shall spend at home for the present.
