Mormon History, Tuesday, Apr 6, 1847.

[Apostle Willard Richards Journal] Cold, northwest wind in morning, clear sky. T. B. [Thomas Bullock] wore a sprig of cottonwood nine inches long covered with leaves. W. Woodruff and B. Young in office about 10. The President gave instruction for business to be transacted before conference. Conference met at the stand. T. B. reported the proceedings (minutes on file). President Young and Dr. Richards signed the letters that were written yesterday morning. Closed office at 10 p.m. Dance in the council for the benefit of the pioneers.
