Mormon History, Apr 5, 1847

[Hosea Stout Diary] Monday April 5th 1847. This was a dark wet gloomy day. Hard South West wind and a beating rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
About noon the wind turned to the North West and the rain ceased. Towards evening it blew hard from the North. I was around as usual & arrainged the guardall is well.
