[Apostle Willard Richards Journal] Locust Creek Encampment, Middle Fork. Morning clear and pleasant, wind east. About noon Dr. Richards and clerk (J. D. Lee Young) removed to the encampment on the hill. About the same time Jeremiah Willey returned to Nauvoo after his family, taking with him a mail of about 150 letters. From 9 to 12 noon the fourth and fifth companies left the ground and moved on west. In the evening two of the teams of the first company returned with 28 bushels corn at 25 cents.
