[Hosea Stout Diary] Thursday April the 9th 1846. cloudy morning. Sent of[f] some more hunters this morning.Elder John Taylor was moving his company across the creek all day today.and encamped about one & half miles on ahead of us.At noon it commenced raining again for a rarity but no wind of consequence[.] My wife continued to be sickshe took medicine (Lobelia) today and was better at night.John W. Binley came back from Medicine Creek whither he had been to get work but did not get any but reported better roads[.] I wrote in my journal in the afternoon and at night regulated the guards as usual[.] No more.
