[Brigham Young Discourse] There was another meeting in the afternoon. President Brigham Young spoke on the subject of the ownership of the farm least there might be some difficulty about it hereafter. It was however voted by the congregation that as it was made by those who were going on for the benefit of the poor who should follow that those who go on would own it subject to the Presidency who should be left in charge of affairs here. -- Garden Grove, Iowa [On the Mormon Frontier, the Diaries of Hosea Stout.
