[Nauvoo Temple] During a Sunday meeting of the Saints in the first floor, the floor suddenly settled, causing panic and confusion among those present. Brigham Young tried to calm the congregation, but he could not, and some persons even jumped out the windows. The local press reported on the "Crash in the Temple," stating that the "confusion was tremendous," and some were "badly hurt"
