[Brigham Young Journal] This morning after visiting some sick brethen I went with my family to brother Benboes on a party ride, made up of Brothers H. C. Kimball and others had a fine time this night had a hard shower, the lightning struck brother Wickes horse and tore out the door post-- August 5th [August 1845]
