[Brigham Young Journal] This day sunday I went to the stand to meeting and preached to the brethren to awake up from their stupor in the evening Baptized bros Joseph Herring and Moses Otis two Lamanities that called to see us where on their way from New York to Mo. Territory they are quite intelligent men and will do us good -- 3rd [Aug 1845]
