[Hosea Stout Diary] June the 30th 1845 Monday. In the morning went to Allen Weeks and I then went to A. Stouts and then after Seeing Amasa Lyman I went to the Lodge and being very Sick with a head ache came home and at 6 oclock met the police at the Temple and then went to the Music Hall from there I went in company with Br A. Lyman & Charles Shumway to Br Shumways house and in a Short time Br Scovil came, & also Br Allen Weeks & wife and two of her SistersWe had a short address from Br Lyman and after drinking what wine we wanted we dismissed all being very much edified with the remarks of Elder Lyman,the company then dispersed & I Staid in company with Br Shumway that night on watch & came home early in the morning.
