[Apostle Wilford Woodruff Journal] 23d I wrote three letters to friends. I recieved by Amos Fielding 7 letters from Nauvoo from Kimball Webster Ells & Br Young And the remainder of the Times & Seasons from Br John Taylor to finish out the whole of the Vth volumn. I went down to get them through the custom house & one man that seemed to be assisting in examining the things was full of the devil & madness on seeing the T & Seasons containing the History of Joseph Smith. He cursed & swore at me all the time I was getting them through the Custom House. It was An unpleasant day in some respets but may the Lord reward him according to his work. 4.
