[Hosea Stout Diary] Sunday October 5th 1845. Went with my wife to meeting in the Temple this fore noon.Elder Taylor Spoke at length on our present prospects and the Satisfaction of going to Calaforna & being redeemed from oppression & legal mobocracy &c which was very interesting.Came home about 2 and after dinner went back and heard the arraingements about the ten Companies organized for Calafornia & gave Roundy a list of the old police and others for his Company as aforesaid, then met the police had a talk with Hunter & McArthur about the Seal of the Covenant and left Hunter at Warthans Shop and came home at dark, and my clerk Br Candland came and we wrote in my journal till bed time.
