[Apostle John Taylor diary] About Printing Office business in morning. In evening at the funeral of Jeannette Richards wife of Willard Richards, who died July 9th, 1845. We had a wedding party at our house when we returned, and I could not help remarking what a transition from a house of mourning almost instantaneously to a house of music and rejoicing; emblematical of the things of this life. Saturday, July 12th, 1845. Chiefly at home.
