Mormon History, Oct 3, 1848

[Apostle Wilford Woodruff Journal] 3d I arose quite unwell this morning my lungs much filled up. It continues to poor down rain like a flood. This is the third day that it has rained hard day & night attended with High winds which will probably prove vary disasterous to Seaman. I was expecting to go to Philadelphia today but it storms so Hard And I am so unwell I will spend the day at Mr Davis while the rain is pouring down. Br Kane came in & spent the night with me. I wrote A letter And Mailed to Mrs Woodruff.
