Mormon History, Feb 6, 1849

[Hosea Stout Diary] Tuesday Feb. 6th 1849. Very cold and heavy frost flying all day like snow. I was around some & up to the office once but weak yet.
There is again beef in the market to be had for paper money so salutary was the sermon of the president on Sunday on that subject. The market had stoped for several days because men would not sell for anything but gold dust or coined money.
