[Hosea Stout Diary] Friday Feb. 2nd 1849. Cold clear day. At and around home[.] Pixtons house which had a lot of hay on it caught fire.
This evening assisted Genl Rich to arrest Wm Tubbs who had brought whiskey here to sell & took it away from him. He is to be tried for that & other misconduct tomorrow.
