[Revelations] Chariton, Missouri. Doctrine and Covenants 62. For John Murdock, Hyrum Smith, Harvey Whitlock, and David Whitmer. Joseph and his companions happened upon these four in Chariton on August 13. Their missions are not finished, but they may go to Zion and hold a meeting before returning to their labors.
Book of Commandments 63 heading: A Revelation to certain elders, while journeying to the land of Zion, given on the bank of the Missouri river, August, 1831.
1835 Doctrine and Covenants 72 heading: Revelation given August, 1831.

Joseph, Sidney, and Oliver arrive in Kirtland by stage. (2)

[Joseph Smith] Kirtland, Ohio. Joseph Smith and his company arrived in Kirtland from Independence, Missouri. (4)

[Lucy Mack Smith] Joseph Jr. and his party reach Kirtland. (5)

Sidney ordains Oliver to the High Priesthood. FWR, 10; John Whitmer's history in (2)

Sidney Rigdon ordains Oliver Cowdery a High Priest. (6)

[Joseph Smith] Joseph returns to Kirtland. (7)

[Joseph Smith] Kirtland, Ohio. While traveling to Colesville, New York, from Harmony, Pennsylvania, Joseph Smith and his company were miraculously delivered from their enemies, who were blinded and unable to identify them. (4)
