[Hosea Stout Diary] Tues Wed Thurs. Frid & Sat April the 10-11. 12. 13. & 14 1849. Worked for T. B. Foote at the Bridge across Big Cañon. On Friday the mail started to California under A. Lyman.on Thursday [Apr. 12] a party of Wanship Band attacted the Utahs on the provo & some were wounded on both sides but none killed as I have heard. On Saturday the mail started to the States under Allen Compton.
