Mormon History, Feb 5, 1849

[Hosea Stout Diary] Monday Feb. 5th 1849. Cold day being 10 below zero, the coldest day this winter. I was at home laid up with the sick head ache and did not go out all day. This was as sick a spell as I evere had with a few exceptions
To day Bishop Vance came around taking the amount of provisions in conformity to the advice of the president yesterday.
