[Hosea Stout Diary] Sat July 8th 1848. Went on and nooned at the Lone tree a well know land mark[.] In the afternoon went to ash hollow and carraled for Sunday.
Opposite to us was a company of traders and Mormon Apostates who were returning to the States with their families
