Mormon History, Jan 26, 1848

[Hosea Stout Diary] Wed Jan. 26th 1848. Police are occupied at cleaning &c the guns yet.
Commenced to exchange corn with those who are going over the river to live for their corn here which saves transportation both ways[.] We collected most of our cornin this way.
We had Langley tried tonight at Woolly store for not holding truth sacred as we called it & fined Woolly one gallon all in fun
