Mormon History, Jan 22, 1848

[Hosea Stout Diary] Sat Jan 22nd 1848. Went to Council again which was mostly spent in reading & correcting the minutes of yesterdays council.
The Twelve & A. W. Babbit then came in. Council continued all day. Babbitt made a long report about the Committee Ship[.] It was not very satisfactory
Brigham reprimanded him once quite sharpley & he flew off in a tangent and tried to resign his office & Trustee &c
Drew another order on a store for taxes amounting to 15-00. Then went to the office to see about sending the police Committee off tomorrow.
