[Hosea Stout Diary] Sunday June 27th 1847. Went out with seven men and came in and went to Council in the evening. John H. Blazzard was tried today for wrestling an ox out of the possession of the guard which had been taken out of the corn field and threatning to fight for it. He was fined 2 dollars which was the first man fined by the High Council. It was put at two dollars not as a precedent in such cases but to prove or show that men should be fined for rebelion.
Isaac Allred from Garden Grove came to my house today which was the first time I had seen him since I left there.
