[Hosea Stout Diary] Saturday May 29th 1847. North wind. Went over river in the morning came back & went out on guard. Cloudy day
This evening I recieved a waggon load of fish for the guard and police sufficient for them all of P. Richards and was engaged in distribeting them out untill eleven oclock. Had a hard warm still rain all night.
