[Hosea Stout Diary] Sunday Jany 4th 1846. Met the guards at 8 as before & sent Some Squads out.John Scott told me of a concoction to try and get me out of the Lodge as Secretary at 12 I came home accompanied with Hunter & took dinner and Met the guards at 3 oclock and rode down below Hibbards and wattered our horses and came back to the Temple and regulated the guard and met the police and came homewhen I came I found Sisters Jane and Martha Bennett on a visit to see my wife
