[Hosea Stout Diary] Saturday May 1st 1847. Cold North wind[.] James W. Cummings & I went to see Allen & Green Taylor today to engage them to take care of some cattle & horses which may be detained, belonging to the dissenters who are going away[.] They agreed to attend to it.
We came home about dark.
