[Hosea Stout Diary] Tues June 27th 1848. Lay up. Hebers Co came today and stoped one mile or so above us. Some stray mules were discovered and taken by Alexr Williams & others on the other side of the river today.
Meeting at dark to Appoint men to hunt and kill Buffalo for the camp instead of men leaving their teams to run after them. Seth Dodge was tried tonight for being found asleep on guard.
