[Abraham H. Cannon Journal] "Frank, who is now in Chicago, was appointed by the church Authorities to go to Washington to assist John T. Caine. It is desired that he should go direct from where he now is." (1)

[Brigham Young] I went to the meeting ground in the fore noon B S. Rigdon Preached his discource was compelecated and ( ) and some what scattered he said he had all things shone to him from this time to the winding up sene or the grate Battle of gog and may gog, there was grate things to take place but he did not tel what the saints should due to save themselves

at 1/2 past 2 p.m. I met with the high preast quorum I spoke to some length to the Brethren Br Kimball spoke, then went to the high Seventies hall spoke to the Brotherin in that place conserning thare organization Fenemose Little (here) 2 monday went on to the hill got my bugga ficks at Br Pecks took tea with Br Joseph Young saw Br. J. P. greene he was sick (P57) Br Willard Richards a sick man in the evening went to Br H. C. Kimballs, saw Sister Williams and seald hir to hir husband G. W. Br H. C. Kimball stod as procksey (2)

[Brigham Young Sermon] [In his september 8th discourse Brigham Young said: I heard elder Rigdon's discourse last Sunday, myself; I heard him pour blessings upon this people in an unbounded degree; I heard him encourage the building up of this city and the Temple, he said he was one with us, and left his blessing upon the congregation. The congregation says to him: "go in peace."]

I said upon the back of his statements, you see that brother Rigdon is with us. I have not seen that brother Rigdon has been with us since he returned from Pittsburgh; I have known that he was not with us in spirit, but I took him at his word. [Nauvoo, Illinois - T&S 5:648] (3)

[William Clayton Writings] Monday 2nd. At the Temple Office had much talk with father about the gospel &c. (5)

[Brigham Young Journal] This morning went to Dr. Richards office and heard history, in the afternoon met Bro Kimball there for the same purpose, but soon Bro. Joseph Cane came in and told me he had purchased James Ivins clover lot for me in case I could raise $100 he was to have it for 200 & Ivins would wait for 100. so I started off and got him the money and secured it (6)

[Apostle Wilford Woodruff Journal] 4th Paid the Bill $3. Rode through Princeton after crossing Beauro near Indiantown. Passed Dover and stoped for the night with Br Simpson B. Huffa-ker. He lives in 1 mile off Greenfield. He wished to put in 400 bushels of wheat for the Temple. (9)

[Nauvoo Neighbor] Announcement: "To the Saints in Lee County Iowa Territory" -- W. Clayton -- States that Saints in Lee County Iowa should pay their tithes to L.S. Dalrymple and he will bring them to Nauvoo to further construction on the Temple. (10)

[Nauvoo Neighbor] Announcement: Deserting Wife -- C.B. Chase -- Tells the Saints that C.B. Chase will not be responsible for his wife, Rebecca Chase's debts. (10)

[Nauvoo Neighbor] Announcement: Lyman Wight's Departure -- Editorial -- States that Elder Lyman Wight moved 150 Saints to Wisconsin territory. (10)
