Lamanite missionaries arrive in Mentor, Ohio. History of the Mormonites (2)

[Oliver Cowdery] Oliver Cowdery and Parley P. Pratt arrived in the Mentor, Geauga, OH and went directly to the home of Sidney Rigdon and stayed at his residence for a few days. Then Cowdery and Pratt went to Kirtland where they were well received by Rigdon's communal colony at the Morely farm. (3)

Parley, Ziba, Oliver, and Peter Whitmer Jr. preach in the Western Reserve (Ohio) and baptize 130 between November 1 and 23. (Parley reports 127 . (2)

[Revelations] Fayette, New York. Doctrine and Covenants 34. Orson Pratt (h1) is blessed for believing. He is called to preach the gospel, preparing the way for the second coming. Catastrophic events and destruction of the wicked. Orson is to prophesy by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Orson was baptized on his nineteenth birthday, September 19, 1830. In October he traveled west to visit Joseph in Fayette, New York, and on November 4, the prophet gave him this revelation. Received through a seer stone in a hat. Recorded by John Whitmer. See Joseph Smith Revelations, 94n94.
