[Joseph Smith] Cowdery preaches the first official sermon of the new church. Joseph Smith is an awkward and hesitant speaker, and until 1839 he usually delegates major speaking opportunities to others. (1)

Hiram Page acquires a seer stone of his own and receives revelations (contrary to Joseph Smith's), the Whitmers and Oliver Cowdery believe Page's revelations. (3)

[Joseph Smith] Manchester, New York. Joseph Smith received Doctrine & Covenants 23, a revelation to Oliver Cowdery, Hyrum Smith, Samuel H. Smith, Joseph Smith Sr., and Joseph Knight Sr. calling them to preach the gospel and strengthen the Church. (4)

Oliver baptizes Peter Whitmer Sr., Vincent Jolly, Richard Z. Peterson (Ziba Peterson), Elizabeth Anne Whitmer in Seneca Lake. (5)

[Joseph Smith] Colesville, New York. Joseph Smith performed the first miracle after the organization of the Church by casting a devil out of Newel Knight. (4)

[Gause, Jesse] Resigned as Quaker preacher 26 April 1830. (6)

Samuel Smith went on early missions in Western New York. (7)

David Whitmer baptizes Newel Knight (first of his family). (5)

Smith is arrested and charged with "being a disorderly person" for his preaching, but is acquitted. (8)

Jemima Wilkinson (1707-1819), "the Publick Universal Friend," taught that she died in October 1776 and returned to life, experienced visions and revelations. Founded settlement of Jerusalem near Pen Yann at the north end of Keuka Lake, Yates County, New York. (5)

Joseph Knight and family, and others, are baptized. Joseph confirms them. (5)
