[Apostle Wilford Woodruff Journal] 31st Monday In Company with B Young H C Kimbal W. Richards W. Woodruff & A Lyman of the Twelve /and G. A. Smith/ And Cutler, Cahoon Clapp Russel Nobles Father Eldridge & two sons Mathewe Flake & others started in search of council Bluffs. We had a plesant day & ride. All enjoyed ourselves well except I suffered much with sore tongue & mouth in consequence of canker. We rode over Hill & dale about 25 miles & Camped for the night about 12 miles above the bluffs. 25.
