[Hosea Stout Diary] Wednesday Nov 26. Went to the Hall as before and appointed James Pace a Captain and then Hunter & I went to my house & took dinner and went to Asa Bartons and appointed him also a captain of ten.We then went to the Hall again and to the police and I with Br Harmon went to a meeting of the Presidents of Seventies at J. D. Lees & there I saw J. M. Grant take his place as one of the first Presidents of Seventies from thence I went to A. J. Stouts & staid all night.
