[Hosea Stout Diary] T. 24. This morning I went to Br. Brigham Youngs with the police a greed on last night to pile his lumber to dry from thence we went to the Stand to fix our seats I then went to A. J. Stouts and took dinner and from thence went to the grave yard with W. D. Huntington the Sexton to hunt the grave of my child we dug up two graves but they were not the one.We did not find it.I came home and met the police & came home accompanied by Br Shumway & P. Young and after taking some wine I went home with Shumway and then went on patrol guard as on Tuesday night & came home before day.
