[Revelations] Kirtland, Ohio. Revelation of November 1, 1835. Reynolds Cahoon is rebuked for "his iniquities, his covetous and dishonest principles. ". (1)

[Smith, George Albert] Returned 2 November 1835, having baptized eight persons. Attended School of Prophets in Kirtland. (2)

[Joseph Smith] I made some remarks [at the organization of the Elders School]
called to order and I made some remarks upon the object of this School, and the great necessity there is of our rightly improving our time and reigning up our minds to a sense of the great object that lies before us, viz, that glorious endowment that God has in store for the faithful ... at evening I
preached at the School house to a crowded congregation (3)

-- Nov 3, 1835
Eleven of the Twelve are chastened for not being sufficiently humble or equal in financial affairs and for criticizing William Smith. (4)

[Patten, David Wyman] In revelation dated 3 November 1835 chastised for commission of certain sins. (2)

[Revelations] Kirtland, Ohio. Revelation of November 3, 1835. The Twelve are condemned for not being humble, coveting funds. William will return. The rest must pray and have faith. He will yet become a polished shaft in the Lord's quiver and none shall be mightier than he. He must repent or be brought low, but David Patten, Orson Hyde, and William E. McLellin are worse. Parable of the twelve sons.
Next month, when Orson learns that William is a secret partner in the church store and receives preferential treatment, he complains bitterly and asks Joseph to rescind the revelation. Orson Hyde's 1835 Complaint. (1)

[Smith, William B] Revelation dated 3 November 1835, called to humble himself. (2)

[Wight, Lyman] Left for Kirtland September 1835; arrived 3 November 1835. (2)

Kirtland, Ohio. Joseph Smith assisted in organizing the School of the Prophets and then dedicated the school in the name of Jesus Christ. (5)

-- Nov 5, 1835
William E. McLellin and Orson Hyde reluctantly accept the revelation of November 3. After school Brigham Young hears it read and appears "perfectly satisfied." (4)

Kirtland, Ohio. Joseph Smith healed Thomas Burdick through the laying on of hands. (5)

-- Nov 6, 1835
Kirtland, Ohio. Joseph Smith met a man from the eastern United States who was disappointed that Joseph Smith the Prophet was nothing but a normal man. (5)

-- Nov 8, 1835
The word of the Lord cam[e] unto me saying that President Phelps & President J. Whitmer are under condemnation before the Lord, for their errors <for which they made satisfaction the same day> (4)
