Mormon History, Dec 26, 1847

[Apostle Wilford Woodruff Journal] 26th Sunday The Conference Assembled at 10 oclok And was Addressed by Elder Appleby in an interesting manner upon the Political state of the world the gathering of the Jews at Jerrusalem & many other interesting things. He was followed by Br Kimball Lyman Benson & others who spoke in the power of God. During the evening the meeting was Adressed by Professor Pratt & W. Woodruff. Both had the spirit of speaking. We numbered the People & they were found to be about 800 in the House. I spent the night as usual with Br Richards.
