[Hosea Stout Diary] Saturday 23rd. Today men were coming in from the states bound for the gold minds, on horse back & in waggons. They were coming in all day. Some came in a few days ago. Went to the High Council in the evening. The trial of P. Sessions was ended after some three or four settings. The charge sustained against him. He had been guilty of taking advantage of the people in the sale of his corn &c. and is now to make restitution to all he has injured.
